대 파장을 몰고 왔던 두 앨범에 대한 활동을 접고 라디오헤드가 새로 들고온 여섯번째 앨범이다. 이전보다는 많이 '보편적인' 사운드를 들려준다. 기존 라디오헤드 팬이었다면 이 앨범만큼은 조금이나마 마음을 열고 다시 들어줄수 있었을듯.

소화하기 어려운 멜로디로 그득했던 전 앨범과 달리 이번 앨범은 다소 쉽다. (쉬워봐야 라디오헤드지만) 다양한 성향의 곡들이 공존한다는 점이 이색적이다. 이 앨범의 성격을 말해주는 2+2=5를 비롯해 몸이 들썩거리는 신나는 곡 There There, 읖조리는 보컬라인이 돋보이는 A Wolf at the Door, 고요한 Sail to the Moon 등등.

이 앨범의 백미는 13번 트랙 Scatterbrain이라고 생각한다. 이 앨범에서 맛볼 수 있는 OK Computer적인 곡이다. 우울하면서도 조화로운, 짜임새 있는 곡.
